The Weather Channel reports that a storm expected to hit Mexico's west coast in the next few days could reach hurricane strength.
The interesting thing is the statement at the end: "could ultimately beget a tropical cyclone in the Caribbean or Gulf, but at this juncture it's too soon to know if/where/when." In other words it might generate a Gulf of Mexico cyclone that could threaten the Texas Gulf Coast.
Stay tuned for developments. In the meantime, get prepared! Remember Humberto? It went from nothing to a full fledged Hurricane in less than 24 hours!
Are you prepared for that?
